SHA Contracting & Onboarding
Prepare your facility for a structured onboarding process.
The problem
Contracting requires a coordinated approach to facility information, evidence and follow-up.
What the package includes
- Readiness assessment
- Required-document register
- Application preparation support
- Submission coordination
- Query tracking
- Operational handover checklist
How an engagement works
First, scope the workflow and agree access. Next, review the relevant process and document exceptions. Then, assign corrective actions and support the agreed submission or follow-up steps. Finally, review progress with your nominated lead.
Scope and fees
Fees are quoted against an agreed scope. Request a written proposal covering deliverables, exclusions, responsibilities, reporting, the fee basis and review dates before committing. We agree whether the work is a defined project or an ongoing service before it starts.
Who this is for
Facilities seeking a more consistent claims process and clear ownership of outstanding actions. The review should include your finance lead and the people responsible for documentation.
Make readiness visible before applying
Contracting and onboarding involve more than completing a single form. A facility needs the right information, current evidence and a clear record of queries and responses. We help organise those administrative tasks while the facility’s authorised representatives retain responsibility for declarations and formal commitments.
Our starting point is a readiness conversation covering your facility type, intended services and current application stage. We identify the relevant official guidance with your team and build a document register around the requirements that apply to your circumstances. Requirements and deadlines can change, so they must be checked through current SHA channels.
Coordinate evidence and follow-up
The register records what is available, what needs updating and who owns each action. Documents should be checked for consistency before an authorised representative approves submission. A query log then keeps follow-up visible, including the question received, the person responding and the date of the latest action.
We support preparation and coordination; we do not issue regulatory approvals or guarantee a contract. Your facility must confirm its eligibility, licences and the accuracy of information supplied. Any matter requiring a professional or regulatory determination remains with the appropriate qualified person or authority.
Plan the operational handover
Readiness work should also consider what happens after a decision. The team needs to know who manages payer communications, where current instructions are kept and how an operational question reaches the correct person. A handover checklist can identify those responsibilities before routine claims work begins.
Your written proposal sets the boundaries of the assignment, review milestones and items excluded from the scope. It also identifies who may communicate or submit on the facility’s behalf. We do not ask you to share passwords or sensitive facility documents through the public enquiry form.
This package suits new facilities preparing an application and existing providers reviewing an incomplete or changing onboarding process. Tell us your facility type and current stage so we can discuss an appropriate next step.
